kylie cantrall’s boy ep cover
you know what time it is!
september was an excellent month for music, from house party anthems to slow-paced jams. safe to say that autumn is well and truly here, with a seasonal unpredictability at full throttle – something that rings especially true in our favourite songs which dropped last month.
check ’em out below.

NOVINE — SHOT ME DOWN
berlin’s rising star novine brings in a new era with ‘shot me down’ – a stellar slow-burner of a track that pulls you in right off the bat. the R&b storyteller’s lyricism weaves words together à la poetry, allowing her eloquent performance to step into focus as soon as it comes into play.

Siobhán Winifred — let down
Singer-songwriter siobhán Winifred’s latest single ‘let down’ finds the london musician at her most vulnerable yet. an indie-rock track at its core, it features a soaring electric guitar that takes you on a deeply introspective journey.

JOSH LEVI — HOLD ON
‘hold on’ is an intricate exploration of love and all it encompasses. more than that, the confessional track is a celebration of josh levi’s flawless vocal performance, which shines extremely bright here.

KYLIE CANTRALL — 99
charming, confident, and carefree. that’s exactly how kylie cantrall finds herself in a groovy new single, ’99’ – an exciting add-on to the deluxe version of her sugary debut EP, b.o.y.
summer might technically be over, but it seems to last a lifetime in cantrall’s world – and, yes, we’ll allow ourselves to revel in it.

jett blyton — landmine
pop sensation jett blyton returns with ‘landmine’, a high-energy number that shoots straight for the stars. it sees the aussie musician tap into the synergy between a house party (case in point: blyton’s previous single ‘apeshit’) and its heartbreaking aftermath, where the fear of betrayal seems a little bit too palpable.
